Keila is a town and an urban municipality in Harju County in north-western Estonia, 25 km southwest of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. The population is 10 000 people.

Project

Procurement of smart city pedestrian signs to improve safety on pedestrian crossings.

Location

5 pedestrian crossings at various locations in the city. Chosen by the city to be the most dangerous location with a lot of usage.

Customer Challenge

The customer needed smart signs that would activate the movement of the people near the crossings. Also had to be charged with solar panels during the daylight and have batteries for night-time. The requirement was to have low-maintenance units that would survive Estonian cold winters and hot summers.

Our Solution

Manufacturing and installation of 10 units of pedestrian smart signs.

Status

Delivery was done during the 2022 and 2023 years.
