Weight Station Displays at the Port of Sillamäe
The challenge
The problem to solve
The Port of Sillamäe (Silport), Estonia's second largest port and fifth largest maritime trading port in the Baltic States, operates a grain weighing station with heavy daily truck traffic. Drivers needed to receive weighing results and routing instructions without leaving the cab — in outdoor port conditions, including winter low-light.
The solution
What Ampron delivered
Ampron supplied DR-720×1040-P5 vertical outdoor LED displays for the weighing station. These are the vertical-format configuration of the baseline DR-1040×720 model — selected for the upright mounting requirements of the weighbridge installation. The displays show real-time weight data and routing instructions pushed from the port's weighbridge management system via REST API.

Results
- ✓ High-brightness displays readable from cab in all conditions including winter darkness
- ✓ Vertical DR-720×1040-P5 format matched the weighbridge mounting requirements
- ✓ REST API integration with existing weighbridge management software — no custom middleware
