LED Guidance Displays for Tallink Silja Passengers at Port of Turku
The challenge
The problem to solve
Tallink Silja ferry passengers and truck drivers approaching the ferry needed dynamic last-mile wayfinding — showing operator branding, gate numbers and lane assignments at the right point in their approach. Static signs were inadequate for the changing operational requirements of a busy multi-operator port.
The solution
What Ampron delivered
Ampron delivered DR-2000×1040 rugged LED message boards — our largest rugged model — to Port of Turku via Finnish distributor OEM Finland Oy. Tallink Silja manages the content through its own video signage software. The displays handle last-mile wayfinding for both truck drivers and foot passengers approaching Tallink Silja ferries. The datasheet rating is IP65.
