We built Ampron Gate because we needed our yard gate to open at 07:00 and close at 18:00 every day, by itself. We searched for a product that could run a schedule independently, without a cloud subscription. Nothing fit. So we built our own — and the scheduling is what it's built around. Phone control, AI integration, and offline resilience are what we added because they belong in a gate controller. You own it outright. No subscription, ever.
One industrial router. Runs the whole thing.
A single Teltonika RUT200 industrial router, mounted in the gate cabinet, runs the whole thing. It hosts the control app on its own web server, drives the gate through its digital I/O, and — when you want remote access — opens a secure WireGuard tunnel out through the mobile network, so the gate is reachable from anywhere without a public IP or port-forwarding. On site, the app runs entirely on the router, so a dropped internet connection never stops you opening the gate.

The web app runs on the router itself. No external server, no cloud dependency. Works with any browser on any device, on site or remotely.
Drives the gate via I/O
The RUT200's digital outputs send the trigger pulse directly to the gate's control terminals. One device replaces a separate controller.
Tunnels home securely
WireGuard through the mobile network gives remote access without a public IP or port-forwarding. Works through CGNAT, from anywhere.

We built Ampron Gate to solve a problem we had ourselves. Our yard gate needed to open every morning and close every evening, independently, without a subscription service or cloud dependency. We looked for a product that could do scheduled gate operation on-site — nothing on the market fit. So we built our own. We put it on the Teltonika RUT200, an industrial router already trusted across Ampron's display infrastructure running in European airports and railways. The scheduling is the core. Phone control, AI integration, and offline resilience are what a proper gate controller should also do.
